Background
180 Amsterdam is a Wieden+Kennedy break away, founded in 1998 by Alex Melvin, Managing Director, Chris Mendola and Guy Hayward. 180 has a long history of doing what its name suggests. Turning things around and looking at a situation from a different perspective. Making a 180 degree shift from the tired, tested and obvious and going in the opposite direction, this is the essence of 180. 180 LA officially opened its doors in January of 2007 with a staff of four people.
